Adult Swim Lessons at the Mitchell Therapy Pool!
Mondays: March 5 through April 9 – 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Session 1: Beginner swimming lessons: This class is for adults who cannot swim. Learn basic swimming techniques so you can enjoy the benefits of exercise in an aquatic environment. Lessons include water safety, buoyancy, simple strokes, mechanics of water movement, and relaxation techniques.
Mondays: April 16 through May 21 – 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Session 2: Intermediate Lessons: This class is for adults who would like to improve their swimming techniques and strokes. Improve swimming efficiency, learn to do a simple dive, or float. Student’s strokes will be critiqued for improvement based on the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.
We will contact you only if the class you choose is filled. Mail the registration form below with full payment of $85 for each session for which you are registering. If you have any questions, please call Sue Carey at 802-773-7187 ext. 303.

The Mitchell Therapy Pool at VAC (MTP) is an indoor, heated and specially equipped therapy pool for adults and children, and is the only therapy pool in central Vermont. With its warm waters and specialized ramps, the pool provides therapeutic swimming for children and adults with special needs.
The pool also offers a diversified program of recreational swim lessons, instructional classes at all levels, birthday parties, and therapeutic activities.
